AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

In Rajyoga, it is taught that we should think positively even about those who behave negatively. Just as we offer blessings to someone who is physically ill, we should also extend forgiveness and compassion to those who are emotionally or spiritually unwell. Rajyoga emphasizes the power of pure thoughts, inner peace, and soul consciousness. By connecting with the Supreme through meditation, we cultivate virtues like patience, kindness, and detachment, allowing us to remain stable and loving even in the face of negativity. What are your thoughts on this and how much this is aligned to Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga?

Yes it is a very helpful practice and is quite aligned to Sri Aurobindo’s Yoga. It helps in a preliminary purification. It is a cultivation of Sattwaguna that helps soften the thick crust of Nature. Later one has to go beyond and let only those thoughts and feelings arise that flow from the Divine. It is to rise beyond the Sattwa and act under the impulsion of the Divine Will as we see in Sri Krishna’s advice to Arjuna. This aspect is missing in Rajayoga since its goal is liberation. We should go one step deeper and replace the vision of me and others with a meditation and perception of the Divine Presence in everyone and everything, however contrary it may seem in appearance.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Dada, why do bad things happen to good people? Like, if you are involved in the process of making black money, then you will make more and more, while those who are sincere towards their work and don’t engage in unethical practices tend to make far less money after lots of hard work. 😥💰💔🦋[…]

Giving true love to anyone increases the force of love in you. Increase of the energy of love gives natural spontaneous joy. It is not the love that you receive from others that
