AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Sir, is it not time for all the pontiff’s of various peetams in our country to find the fulfillment of their respective path in Sri Aurobindo’s vision and seek to work together for its realisation🤨

The difficulty is that most pontiff and priests use religious doctrines as a way to fulfil ambitions to dominate and control people rather than truly increasing their urge to seek the truth. To seek for higher and greater truths until the two seemingly antagonist poles of the world play are reconciled should indeed be the natural aspiration of man. Man, the thinker cannot rest permanently with a compromised understanding that splits creation into two pieces and makes an escape from the puzzle of life as the way to solve it!

Still, most people get into small or big comfort zones that promise a comfortable life here and a postmortem salvation hereafter.  The average human being turns to God not for any higher understanding but for selfish reasons of making the joys of their small aims and little life as secure as possible.  They want God’s power at the service of the ego but not God Wisdom. Or else they are too deeply entrenched in fixed beliefs that any further seeking is discouraged and stifled.

But this is not going to be forever.  The Age of Religions is over and a greater destiny leans over man. The last Act in the great epic of earthly life has begun that is bound to carry man beyond himself and even despite himself.  It is this change of consciousness that has already begun which will inevitably lead the receptive sections of humanity towards the New Creation.

Affectionately
