AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

How Can I take control over my mind🤯?

Everything is possible but the greater the task the longer it takes and one has to persevere with faith. If one is sincere in one’s effort and open to the Divine Grace then it is very much possible and desirable to master our thoughts and feelings and impulsions and all other activities and movements of the mind. The first step is to become aware of the thoughts and how they arise in us. Next step is to stand back from the thought and observe as they come and go. The third is to accept or reject the thoughts based on the direction or the Goal one places before oneself. The fourth and final step is to completely quieten the thought activity and open the mind to higher consciousness and thoughts that embody higher truths by opening to faculties of inspiration, revelation, intuition and vision.

What was Mother’s view of classical music? I mean, were there composers that she believed could really be uplifting spiritually? I am interested, as it was around the turn of the 20th  century, in her young age and youth, that a coarser movement in music came to evolve. 🎶🎼😊🙏🏻🪷[…]
