If it is frequent then it indicates possibly low immune resistance. This in itself could be due to some kind of stress which is quite common at your age. Try to do regular exercises, deep breathing, and some simple meditation for calling peace and qietude in the system. Generally however cough and cold indicates problem in expression or stifled expression.
