AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Gradually, a feeling is arising within me to witness everything slowly. It’s as if the entire world is descending into me, and I am observing it all with complete detachment. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»πŸƒ[…]

It doesn’t feel good to react to any particular matter. The whole world is active on its own course. What kind of detachment is this that’s coming over me? And how do I fulfill the worldly responsibilities that remain? Even don’t have an interest in explaining it before anyone.

A consciousness overlapping me that I can’t express myself. Can’t distinguish good from bad. I don’t experience the Mother and Sri Aurobindo’s Consciousness as I did before. Praying for it. Please guide da.Β

This is a state, not of detachment, but of disenchantment, a disengagement with life. It could be a prelude to some wave of depression trying to take hold of the fields of nature. The true witness state brings calm and peace in the system. I would suggest that you should keep yourself busy. Even in a witness state, one can work well, as most work does not require an active engagement of the mind unless it is a kind of new learning. Do keep calling Mother even if you do not feel like doing so. Similarly, read and write passages from the Mother and Sri Aurobindo.Β

It will also help to look inside if something has been troubling you in recent times, or a kind of lack of interest in activities is taking hold.Β

If there is a lack of clarity, you can come over and discuss it personally.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

As Mother advised, we should remain quiet and avoid unnecessary talk. I used to be somewhat talkative 2–3 years ago, but over time, I realized the value of speaking less and focusing only on necessary conversations, which brings me peace. πŸ—£οΈπŸ’¬πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»[…]
