AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Bhaiya, I am going to get married soon, and we both are inclined towards the Teachings and the Path of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo. We do not see Relationships and Marriage in the same way, our relatives and parents do. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿปโ€โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐ŸŒ„โœจ[…]

We wish to marry in a very simple and beautiful way, such as in a temple or through a court marriage, but our family and relatives are not ready for this.

So, we decided to fulfill their wishes by following the Rituals and allowing them to invite their dear ones to the marriage. However, as we are progressing, they keep increasing their expectations and adding certain rituals that do not make much sense to us.

Because of this, we have become upset and have ended up having disagreements with them. This has created disharmony, and we feel very bad, as this is such a beautiful journey we are beginning, yet we are not at peace.

Kindly advise what our Attitude should be.

One can never satisfy all the expectations of people. The more you give, the more they would want. This, unfortunately, is the truth of most human natures, especially when they are closely connected. But getting upset and having an unpleasant moments during a beautiful beginning is not a good idea either. So, best for now would be to let them have their say for now. You are already married before the ever-living Presence of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Rest is a debt you still owe to the world. Be done with it. After all, it is only a few days. As long as they do not interfere with your life and your journey, go through it, dedicating all this too, to The Divine Mother.ย

May your wedded walk be a harmonious togetherness, a happy and beautiful journey blessed by Her Grace.ย ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Affectionately,

Alok Da

It is the struggle that most people of the new generation feel. The simplest way to deal with these things is to stay focused on your goal and not try to change people, however significant or close they may be in your life. To try changing others or to expect them to….

Namastey Alok Da, I was reading some predictions related to Pakistan and China by Mother and Sri Aurobindo on the website, Was the Mother referring to a future event that is yet to manifest, or was this vision specific to that time period and did not occur due to divine intervention or a change in the working of forces? Is there any future possibility where China might invade India?๐Ÿชท๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฎ

She was referring to a possibility, a possibility that was strong at that moment as well remains a risk for the future. Sri Aurobindo also said that they are very restless and saw the threat of Red China invading India through Tibet. As long as the Communist party …

I have been living away from home for almost 9 years for my studies, and currently study in a foreign country. I usually donโ€™t get much lonely and even if I, I get comfortable on remembering the Mother. But for sometime, I am getting too emotional on festivals such as today, which usually results in a fever and impacts my work. How should I deal with it?๐Ÿก๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿงธโ˜•
