AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Dada, until now I used to meditate daily as a rule, but I just read the Mother that meditation is useful only when it comes spontaneously. Should I stop doing my daily meditation without spontaneous inspiration? πŸ§˜πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»βœ¨

It means that nothing should be done merely as a ritual. There should be behind all our activities a conscious aspiration. Spontaneous meditation means that we are in a meditative mood and feel the urge to meditate rather than do it merely as a routine process.

There is no need to stop the meditation. Do it with a conscious aspiration that comes to you spontaneously at the moment.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
