AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Who are the inferior God’s referred by Sri Aurobindo in Savitri🕊️?

These are the gods who are stationed in the vital and higher mental worlds. Their action is mainly to satisfy our desires, protect us sometimes against forces that try to harm us, heal us from certain types of illnesses but that is their limit. They keep man tied as a cattle within the fence of his natural limits and by doing so prevent the soul from realising its freedom from ignorance and unity with God.

Of course the Divine can also directly do these things but His action is such that everything is used eventually for our spiritual progress, the granting of prayers as well as their refusal.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
