AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Would the Divine Will make me do something I don’t want to do? My life seems heading towards it. Its about physical relationship with someone I don’t feel connected to. This has been troubling me for quite some time now ๐Ÿ˜“.

Ordinarily the Divine Will acts from behind through the veil of ego and desires, not directly. To believe that all that happens in the world is the result of the Divine Will is to land straight in the net of the hostile forces. If all was already the expression of the Divine Will then there would be no necessity of personal effort, choices and the law of karma. One has to progress a lot inwardly to quieten the push and pull of ego and desire to even know what the Divine Will is. Therefore instead ofย  presuming that any action is being prompted by the Divine it is better to step back, reflect upon the action and its possible repercussions and consequences, especially whether it will bring or increase Peace, Harmony, Light in one’s own and others around or the opposites. Then one should make a conscious choice and assume responsibility for the deed rather than passing the onus to God.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

It is not yet the World War. If we see the root cause of the two World Wars, it was an inordinate ambition of one or two dictators that took the form of gobbling up the nations. Such an ambition in today’s times is extremely difficult even though …
