AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

‘Each problem exists not by itself, but in relation to all the others, and the solution, to be true, must neglect none of them.’ -The Mother (CWM 20) Alok Da please explain🤔

It means that instead of piecemeal solution we must consider all sides of a problem so that we may arrive at a more comprehensive solution.

For example if there is an illness we tend to treat that particular illness but we should also take into account the immunity, the stresses that are going on, the possible lowering of faith and will, adverse suggestions in the psychological atmosphere and environment, perhaps a bad heredity and so on and so forth.

Another example is people who have serious relationship problems and keep tackling each one as if it is independent of the other. They get overwhelmed as sometimes they find themselves in an avalanche of difficulties. They need to look into other factors that are intertwined such as coping styles, reacting in certain ways, speech tone and words, strong egoism, poor upbringing, persisting knots of pain conditioning the responses, inability to love deeply etc etc.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
