AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

“All was now luminosity and force” What is the meaning of this message ๐Ÿ™???

This is a line from Book Three Canto Three of Savitri, The House of the Spirit and the New Creation. Here, in this Canto we see the king-yogi Aswapati having a direct glimpse of the Supramental World. In the supramental world, unlike our own, there is no dissociation between knowledge (represented by light) and will (represented by force), between Purusha, the light that sees and knows, and Prakriti,ย  the force that acts and executes. The line describes this experience of unity between the highest light, the light of the Divine and the highest force, the force of the Divine. There is no more any division felt there, between Spirit and Matter, between the power that knows and the power that fulfils.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Yes, of course, reading and writing prepare the ground, they are not a replacement or substitute for direct experience which comes through the meeting of Aspiration and the Grace.ย

Jai Maa. Today I was reading the Two Natures chapter from Essays on the Gita and there Sri Aurobindo explains that the desire in consonance with dharma does not lead to any bondage, while there he also mentions that desire born of Rajogun leads to bondage and misery. ๐Ÿ“–โœ’๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐ŸŒป[…]

He has already answered this as you have correctly indicated, through the svabhava. Svabhava is the Divine Impulsion in creation that generates karma. It is the swabhava of the…
