This is a line from Book Three Canto Three of Savitri, The House of the Spirit and the New Creation. Here, in this Canto we see the king-yogi Aswapati having a direct glimpse of the Supramental World. In the supramental world, unlike our own, there is no dissociation between knowledge (represented by light) and will (represented by force), between Purusha, the light that sees and knows, and Prakriti, the force that acts and executes. The line describes this experience of unity between the highest light, the light of the Divine and the highest force, the force of the Divine. There is no more any division felt there, between Spirit and Matter, between the power that knows and the power that fulfils.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
