AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Alok Da, what is the difference between Faith and Trust? πŸŒΌπŸ™

Faith is that the Divine exists and hence all will turn out to be good, not necessarily from the point of view of the ego but from the total perspective that the Divine only knows. It is like knowing that there is a good friend always with us, the best friend so to say.

Trust is that this Divine Friend or Grace will respond if i call. Trust is when Faith assumes a personal hue.

Confidence is in the ability of the Grace to sort out the problems best.

Thus, for example, one may have Faith that the Divine is there but doubt that She will listen or respond to me. Plenty of people have Faith but lack Trust.

One may have Faith and trust that the Divine is there and will respond but one is unsure whether She can solve or resolve my problems (for which one may give a number of reasons, karmic and pragmatic). It means there is lack of Confidence in the Grace even though Faith and trust are there.

The Mother says that all three are needed.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Those who give themselves entirely/ unconditionally to the Lord do more for the World than the so-called social workers, charities, trusts etc. One man’s perfection and one man who has purified himself, accomplishes more for mankind than any other means. Dada, please explain. 🫴🏼✨

Yes. Absolutely true. By ascending towards higher human or divine possibilities he automatically exerts a pull upon others in the same direction. It is because we are all interconnected and when one man realises a higher possibility, he not only pulls others as a rope pulls everything tied to it but also becomes a luminous example …

It is said in the Traditional Spirituality that as one grows spiritually, their body becomes weak. What is the reason behind this? and how to make the body more strong to sustain Spiritual Evolution without breaking down? πŸ’ͺ🏼

There are different traditions and not all say the same thing. Besides this subject has its own complexity.
The basic principle is that there is one prana that circulates in a fivefold movement within the human system, – two currents of pranic energy go upwards to feed the intellectual and spiritual activities, two move downwards to
