AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

But as I said I am really trying to study the Soul👼. And this author Michael Newton claims to take his patients thru their death and then beyond in “ spirit world “ and asks them what their souls are doing?

The reason I even went beyond the first chapter is that the first patient described the death and the soul escaping from top of the head, and saying (the soul talking ) how free he is feeling.I won’t describe everything but the whole conversation is exactly what we ( Hindus, Integral Study students ) have read or thoughts (dreamed ). More and more I had impression that the author had studied Hindu scriptures, tho he has not given any credit to them or has even mentioned them. He has given details of some 29 cases, from beginner souls thru advanced souls. He has given details thru the souls what they are seeing or experiencing. The souls describe how there are layers in spiritual world, how elders one soul called them Sadhus, how they are topmost. As for author asking them about ‘God’ they, most of them said there is no ‘God’ as such it’s just intensely accumulated energy, and that they don’t know much about it or reach it. What I want to know is is it even possible? The author says he takes patients deeper during hypnosis using Beta waves. Can this be done and is it even believable. I have not reached those chapters of Savitri yet, and don’t know what to believe.

It is possible to take a person back in time under hypnosis because all the memories are stored up somewhere in the subconscient as memories. However in the process of bringing them up it gets mixed up with number of things in the subliminal being.  As such the memories in the subconscient are quite disorganized. In PLR personal ways of looking at things, fantasies and beliefs all get mixed up in the consciousness of the person.  Past life memories can be brought out only by coming in contact with one’s soul and that is not an easy task.

As to the experience of God, it is the cosmic being that the departed souls, after having gone through the vital and mental worlds, come eventually in contact with. Whether one feels the contact as some Energy or Being depends upon the lines along which the soul has been developing in an individual. Energy that is conscious is Conscious Force and Force that is conscious is Being. The Being whom we call God can assume the form to which the mind of the devotee is accustomed to.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I am quoting from your answer: “This implies a constant practice of equanimity as well as a complete faith in the Divine that whatever is needed will come.” – You mean to say then one need not even think of his bodily needs, like eating, drinking, and a place for living, a sleeping bed, health care, etc., if one has complete faith. 🥸🦋🌻[…]

The Divine is not there to fulfil our ignorant desires. Why push and force our ignorant will on God, who knows much better than us as to what is really good for our lives. While I understand the desire for motherhood in a woman, yet that cannot be made the goal and centre of our life.

What if the desire to hold on — the attachment — isn’t rooted in pride or the need to show ownership, but rather in a deep sense of care? A quiet protectiveness, born not from materialism, but from love. What if it’s not about clinging to possessions, but about holding close the people who matter most — not out of selfishness, but from the fear of loss?🤔🌼✨[…]

Yes, attachment and care are not necessarily a negative movement. They are indeed a form of Sattwic love which is certainly higher than the gross rajasic pride and attachment that wants things and people only for one’s …
