Gita mentions that sthitha pragnya as a being without निरहङ्कारः. Sri Aurobindo says that to be truly free of निरहङ्कारः, the nature has to be supramentalised otherwise the ‘I’ sense remains, though in a sublimated and divine way. So what is निरहङ्कारः according to the Gita🤔?

Nirahankar, निरहंकार, normoha, निर्मोह, ahamshoonya, अहमशून्य, are closely allied states. Nirahankar is the absence of egoism which is very much possible by the practice of

If Asuras 👿and Devas 😇, good and evil souls all have to reach at the same goal with or without consciousness or other efforts then why one has to put so much efforts like surrender, sincerity, remember and offer , atmosphere, presence, discipline, punctuality? Can’ t one go through only faith wherever I am and whatever I am…with lot of defects and even full of ignorance. Divine will take me to my real and destined goal?

Alok da, studying sankhya makes me feel like it had all the potential to develop into a school of scientific research into nature 🤔 like the Aristotleian school did in the west (Sri Aurobindo says all scientific claims starts with sankhya like analysis) but sankhya ultimately got confined to remain in the realm of psycho spiritual practice and liberation, while on the other hand Organised church and it’s educational networks across Europe helped Aristotle’s philosophy to develop into systematic scientific research while in India sankhya again confined to few guru shishya relationship, did we miss a chance here? Sri Aurobindo in the beggining of his play Perseus the deliverer also hints at how the greek thought will develop into science and taming nature and giving him reign over it,is it cos of our veneration of prakriti too as a goddess that inhibited us to look at it dispassionately like the europeans with later Christianity started to look at nature as god given reign for men to exploit and kind of desacralised it,it might be an error but still the error might have worked in their favour in developing science while Indians wanted to annul nature altogether and merge into brahman/Nirvana

Sankhya was more interested in solving the hard problem of consciousness with which scientists are grappling now. The Sankhya philosophers nearly solved it by bringing

Ganesh – energy that remove obstacles, Savitri – Inspire intellect to act wisely….

…..Shakti in Tantra / Parvati in Puranas / Divine Mother – the sum total of all the energy in the universeThrough various modes of worship

I often visit Pondicherry, but my aspiration feels weak when I’m there. At the Samadhi, I feel blank and don’t feel like sharing my problems to the Mother—it just doesn’t come naturally. I struggle to share everything. I feel like I go there to relax, even though I can easily connect with the Mother because the whole atmosphere is filled with her presence. But when I’m away from Pondicherry, I listen to your talks, read books, and my aspiration feels stronger. I write to the Mother my problems, good and bad days. It’s confusing why I don’t feel more aspiration when I’m in Pondicherry 🙄? Why does this happen?

But this is natural. Aspiration is a thirst for the Divine. But when you are at the ocean of Divine Love you don’t feel thirsty
