We don’t need the Supermind to predict difficulties. We need to simply understand that there are certain laws that govern our existence and it is part of our progress to understand and live by them.
For example touching fire may burn us. Similarly fear attracts what we are afraid of. Lying saps away the strength of our soul, our thoughts shape our character, our actions when repeated become habits, attachment (not love) brings suffering, aimless self centered life brings misery. There are many laws like that which are already known thanks to the Rishis who were like scientists of the Spirit.
All this is known. I believe schools and home should teach these things and transmit this Knowledge which is much more helpful for our happiness, harmony and growth but the entire focus goes on money and ambition.
So problem is people don’t want to know. They don’t have faith in higher things. And when they know they don’t have the will to follow it because they want the easier way to pleasure in life.
If one read only the Mother’s writings all these laws are beautifully described and explained. But we prefer to remain unconscious. Do you know why? Because we do not value true knowledge. So how will we know?
Yes one can know what may come, if one is sincere and conscious. We don’t need the Supermind for that. Supermind is to make earthly life perfect and divine.
If we just learn to lead a more conscious life, using our buddhi, have the right values and, strengthen the will by applying it for the true and beautiful things life will be so much more beautiful and free of many difficulties. Even if they come, we will easily sail through it.
Or simply if we have an unwavering faith in the Divine Grace, then too we will sail through the challenges as if protected.
Thought, emotions, faith, will are powers given to us. We should cultivate them and grow conscious of what we are doing and why we are doing that.
There is a part that human beings need to play and we must play that well.
Even leading a life of balance and moderation will go a long way in preventing difficulties most of which are truly unnecessary and not due to anything outside us but due to things that are fully within our control.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
