AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

How should one deal with comparison to peers and feelings of inadequacy or inferiority? Even if I logically know it is not the correct response and everyone is on their own journey, I panic every time I see someone reach a milestone and feel shame, sadness, and urgency about the things that havenโ€™t worked out for me๐Ÿ˜“.

It is not enough to say that everyone has their own unique goal. True though it is, yet it remains at best an intellectual conception, until we find our own unique goal.

As long as we are standing on one spot and we see people run or walk past us we will keep having the impression that we are on the same track and in the same race. What is important to discover our own track, whether it be through the hills or the meadows, the forest or the plains, one needs to be clear about the road upon which we feel inclined to walk.

And for that the most important condition is to discover one’s aim, the goal of your life. Once we discover that then the rest becomes easy since we are on the track meant for us and others on their own. So spend time on reflecting upon your unique goal and you will see the jigsaw puzzle of life including what bylanes one took so far fall in place.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

The Epstein files has simply scratched the surfaces of the neat outer facade of human beings and bared the rots that is held in its underbelly. Pursuit of material success and moral growth are often at variance with each other. It…
