AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I work on an outsourced basis as an employee in a Government office. Since I have a low salary, I manage the work of the contractors in-house related to the office and get a fee from that. The fee I am taking from the contractor is wrong or right (is it becoming Nishkama Karma or not)? 😟👷🏼‍♂️

Rules and regulations of private or government organisations are man-made with an eye on their personal benefits. These rules are not to be treated as absolute laws. It is perfectly fine to do additional work and supplement your income as long as you are not hurting the interests of the main organisation or going against the national interest or engaging in activities that are detrimental to human progress. Such being not the case, what you are doing is perfectly fine.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

It is difficult to say anything as i do not know what exactly happened. Also it depends upon what you mean by conscious deception as well as the intent behind it. There is also deception done in good faith. The worst yet the …
