Our scriptures outline numerous profound and time-tested practices—such as the worship of Tripura Sundari or the Shri Yantra, and the disciplines of Mrityunjaya, Gayatri, Navarna, or Bija mantras. For thousands of years, householders in Bharat have turned to Gayatri sadhana for the Divine Mother’s help in living a noble life.
I humbly request individuals of your stature and intellect to refrain from implicitly rejecting these aspects of Sanatan Dharma. Doing so can offer genuine support to ordinary people who are unaware of its true depth, yet long for a better way of living.
I am not saying something that has been said for the first time. Even Sri Krishna says so. In my experience any devotee, even with the slightest of faith, calls for the Divine Help directly, without any outer processes, the help will come, does come. And it is much easier, much simpler, direct and often instantaneous and powerful. It is the simple human beings who can do this and it doesn’t need anything except trust in the Divine Grace. Again this too is affirmed by Sri Krishna himself.
Nevertheless there is no problem if people wish to take a longer path or have faith in the Intermediary powers. It is perfectly fine. To each his own way.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
