AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

I noticed two parts within me — one is a child, sitting quietly in the Matrimandir, and the other is an adult. I’ve been observing🤔 how these two parts respond differently to life.

Recently, I received an opportunity to go abroad for two months to learn and work with a teacher I feel deeply called to. I decided to go. When my in-laws heard this, they became upset. The adult part of me longs for harmony and blessings. She feels sad when others are in pain.

On the other hand, when I check in with the child within me, she is silent — sitting at the Mother’s feet, peaceful and receiving light. How can I create harmony between these two parts of my being, one asking to follow light and one needing harmony?

Listen to the child at the Mother’s Feet. It will lead you to the right way towards harmony. True Harmony comes by growing in the Light and not by adjusting, accommodating, appeasing others.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
