AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

One resident doctor has being raped and killed in Kolkata. Sorry to ask this but than why such incidents happen and how to not get affected by listening this. Daily we hear some or the other news like this. Now is there karma behind it? Or interia? Or unconsciousness? Why that freedom has being given to such forces that leads to these kind of events? Like this to who is safe, in this universe?

Regarding the cruel incident you mention, isn’t it strange (and painful) that we think of something other than ourselves only when such extreme things happen? Otherwise, the average human being remains just too busy with his selfish personal life, his little life of pleasure and pain, his trivial joys and his facile sufferings that keeps him tied to and occupied with the daily mechanical round of small desires and ignoble aims. These extreme events, painful though they are shake him out of his deep slumber, they break some cover of dense resistance and compel him to think.

But if mankind as a whole or even in parts heeded the Divine call to exceed itself or even lived for something higher and nobler, perhaps just a sufficient number to create a subtle inner field of pressure to evolve, life would be so much better. But man learns only the lesson of catastrophe and pain and rather than grow in the image of God seeks to turn even God into service of his small desires…..hence…..

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Why some people suffer so much in their lives both physically and mentally while others get everything smooth both mentally and physically? Yesterday I went to meet my 82 year old neighbour who is suffering from cancer for the past four years. Her treatment is going on and she was fine till June 2024 but now she has become very weak and suffering from multiple myeloma. One can see pain and suffering in her eyes. After meeting her I felt it is better to die than to live in this condition😭. Is this suffering due to what we call prarabdh or is it something else? And why not death comes and take lives of such persons who are suffering a lot because it is very painful to live in such condition?

That earthly life has its burden of suffering is obvious. The difference exists in theories about the cause of suffering. The wise say its root cause is ignorance. What is meant by this term is that we do not know who we are or why we are here? We do not know the play of forces and the way to master them? Let us apply …

Why was this world 🌏 made? You explained it beautifully, but I’m an atheist and don’t believe it was created by a power. If I did, I wouldn’t be asking this question.

Normally one would this question only if one believed that there is a Conscious Being or Power that has gone into the making of this world. If one is an Atheist then the right question would be not why but how this world was made. Because non-belief in a Conscious Wisdom and Force that has gone into…

What were the events that turned the following wars? Ramayana, Mahabharata, World War 1 💣and World War 2. I believe the World War 2’s turning point was Dunkirk or was it when Winston Churchill became Prime Minister or I might be wrong? Please explain.

All these three or four major wars took place during the time of the three Avatars who had come to establish dharma consistent with the dawn of a new age. Therefore these wars can very well be seen as the last ditch attempt for the forces of adharma to resist the new age being ushered by the Avatar. Therefore each war has a spiritual as well as physical turning point.

The spiritual turning point is when the forces of adharma took an extreme step that invited a strong recoil as well as a Divine Intervention. Such a point for the Ramayana war that
