AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Sir, suddenly heart starts beating fast, and the fear rises. I handled it fine yesterday when it happened. But I am still having a headache due to it. It happens due to overthinking, maybe. 😰[…]

Is staying busy the whole day an important part of life? Because, Sir, I work only 4 hours a day. So maybe due to inertia and lack of work, fear comes to me faster, or maybe it’s a part of my Swabhaav.

Svabhava is the divine impulsion in creation. It does not create problems, rather it heals them. Yes, staying busy with work helps turn the attention away from oneself. But work does not mean only a job or vocation. It implies a whole range of activities, including some of the best ways of spending time, such as reading, studying. Basically, the lesser one thinks about oneself, and instead the more one focuses on progress, on new things to be learnt, to help, to seek, the better it is.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
