Then my question is, why am I giving it to the Mother again as an Offering? Does this Offering help me one day towards Complete Surrender?Β
Also, may you tell me about the difference between a coin of 10, 20 Rupees offering & a paper note rupees offering? Or there is no difference?Β
Money, like everything else, that is education, intelligence, will, emotions, are all gifts of the Divine Mother, but they come through the agency of Nature. We can use them for our daily purposes, which is what the average person does, using it all for his ignorant, selfish needs, for survival and pleasure. One can misuse them by fulfilling egoistic ambitions and expansion of desires, as the asuric type of humanity does. Or we can use them for the Divine Work, the Divine Manifestation, the Divine Purposes, which a sadhak is supposed to do. That is what is meant by giving to the Divine Mother. It means helping in the outer aspects of Her Work, which need money. For example, printing of their books with an eye on perfection and beauty will need money.Β
Giving of money is only one kind of giving. It certainly helps in the surrender, provided there is no ego in the act of giving and no remembrance of what has been given.Β
There is no difference between the different coins as far as the value is concerned. It is what the coin represents in terms of the amount of money.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
