AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Those who try to escape every problem—whether in work or relationships—by constantly jumping from one thing to another, or by using money as a shield, by constantly changing relationship, often justify their actions with the phrase, “I’m just being practical.” But is being practical always the right approach, especially when it comes to emotions🤨?

Practical should always be aligned to the Ideal. Practical does not mean throwing all ideals and idealism out of the window. It rather means finding ways and means to realise, to manifest the Ideal in worldly life that often opposes Ideal we carry as a dream in the heart.

What you are describing is not practical but a selfish seeking for personal comfort often combined with a lack of courage to stand up for what is true and right and beautiful.

Leave aside such people to follow their way which is unfortunately the way of the common lot and leads one nowhere except to circle in an endless maze of ignorance.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
