I have no direct experience of him but from what I have heard he seems to be an incarnation of Hanuman ji who himself is an emanation of Shiva in his Rudra aspect. This means that he was in deep connection with one of the divine beings, may be an emanation, but not an emanation or incarnation of the Divine Himself.
