Sports is one of the best ways to make the vital strong. Music, art and poetry helps to refine it. Deep breathing exercises quietens the vital while asanas help stabilise the vital energy in the body and balance its circulation. Growing in inner Peace Meditation accompanied with an aspiration lifts up the vital energies whereas lust, anger, fear saps and diminishes it. Equanimity and nishkama bhaav (without desire for the fruits) liberates the vital energy opening doors to new possibilities. Finally serving the Divine Mother with a will progressively aligned to Her Will transforms it.
Please note that the lesser we are moved by desire, the stronger we grow in the vital. Especially lack of control of speech and action under excitement are harmful to the vital energy in us.
