It is best to keep an arms distance from such a person as, besides other things, it means that the person is too self-opinionated and arrogant and has no respect for you. Such people are best left alone. They are not worth wasting your energy upon.
One should stay away from them, cut or detach oneself inwardly and leave them to their fate.
