AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

When are we ready to meet God😇?

This Usually happens after a long period of evolution through a number of lives, eventually through a mounting aspiration assisted by meditation, bhakti, service, sincerity and faith, finally as an act of Grace.

Sri Aurobindo reveals in Savitri.

T’he great are strongest when they stand alone.

A God-given might of being is their force,

A ray from self’s solitude of light the guide;

The soul that can live alone with itself meets God;

Its lonely universe is their rendezvous.’

He further assures

‘Whatever the appearance we must bear,

Whatever our strong ills and present fate,

When nothing we can see but drift and bale,

A mighty Guidance leads us still through all.

After we have served this great divided world

God’s bliss and oneness are our inborn right.

A date is fixed in the calendar of the Unknown,

An anniversary of the Birth sublime:

Our soul shall justify its chequered walk,

All will come near that now is naught or far.’

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Sending my prayers and Her Love for swiftly emerging out of this pain and taking once again the royal road to progress…

I watched ‘The Odyssey’ today, and I must say it was an Absolute Masterpiece. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some scenes moved me deeply—especially when Argos, the faithful dog, recognized Odysseus, and when Telemachus realized that the beggar standing before him was actually his father. Those moments felt profoundly symbolic and touched something beyond the story itself. 🎬😯⛵🗾[…]

The Odyssey and The Iliad are truly masterpieces of Homer. I have not watched the film but have read an English translation of the original book. Odysseus comes across as the key instrument like Arjuna in the Mahabharata. He is the favourite of goddess Athena or Maheshwari. Penelope is, if seen with the eye of an Indian, is a Sati, …

A few days ago, I had a dream where rain was pouring in through the window of my room, directly onto my bed. I got scared and stood before a picture of my Guru. Silently, I said to myself, “As long as Guruji is with me, no one can harm me.” 📖🙄🙏🏻🌼[…]

Rain coming through the window is Grace but for some reason you are unable to accept it and hence go towards your Guru. The Guru points out to you to turn towards Savitri which embodies the Divine Mother’s Love and to …
