AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

When Sri Aurobindo was not even 7 years old, He experienced great darkness enveloping him in Darjeeling. This darkness always hung over him during his stay in England. The darkness left him when He came back to India. What was the reason behind that🤨?

It is the spirit of the Age, of Kali, that he had absorbed within himself since it was precisely this shadow that hung over the nations and humanity that he had come to dispel as one of his main tasks. He had to go into the cave of darkness to release the light it held within.
