AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Why does disease happen in the body in spite of taking all care, eating healthy, doing exercise etc.? How can one cure oneself without seeking medical help or relying on it totally? Does body respond to self-healing? How is it done🤔?

It is a vast and complex subject given the number of factors involved in health and healing.  For instance too much care of body may be due to an obsession, or out of fear in which case these psychological factors undo the good by exercises etc. Most important is the principle balance and moderation,  and a simple happy harmonious life, a calm mind and having faith in God.

In our present condition, it is best to combine self-healing alongwith the use of gentle, mild medicines. Faith in cure and the will to get well are two most important factors in healing.

An example of the former type could be, ‘suna hai …

Like Abhimanyu, he enters into the enemy ranks from where coming out was near impossible. He is trained but inexperienced, again like Abhimanyu. He is valiant, courageous, puts …

In one of your lectures on “Planned Action and Divine Action,” you mentioned that when we are praised or felicitated, one should neither deny it nor take personal pride in it. 🙁🤷🏼‍♂️🪷✨[…]

Yes, if one looks within and finds that one has done what best one could do in a given situation, then one should remain inwardly quiet and see why one gets disturbed by the criticism. It is generally either because one expects some appreciation or praise or at least..
