AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Why does the part of our being automatically flow by Nature? When egoistic thought, suggestion, and confusion come from the below part, why do I feel a lot of pain in this part? Now this part of my being is pulling me downwards. So, the Peace, Bliss, Wideness are not sustaining… 😣[…]

Dada, it is a very painful stage for me. The outer nature creates a disturbance of being. When I think about the Divine, the outer consciousness goes its own way, and so, a severe pain is felt in the lower part, which binds the consciousness, but when I don’t think about the Divine and engage with work, then this does not happen. What should I do?

It happens to everybody. Being impatient doesn’t help. There are many parts of our nature, tendencies that we carry from lives, there are many elements of nature that are still developing and need to go through their own pace and process of evolution. All this takes time. Even a yoga of escape from earthly life is not easy. Here, the demand is for transformation through a conscious and concentrated evolution, not only of the soul, but of all the different parts of our nature.Β  Hence, time is required. One has to keep on aspiring and surrendering, detecting all that needs to change and opening these parts to Her Light and Love.Β

It is a good sign that you feel pained when certain parts of nature go their own way and do not listen to the higher parts. Your feeling this psychic sadness is a sign that your soul is developing. Gradually, it will be able to put sufficient pressure upon these parts for them to change. Do not worry. Keep practicing the yoga steadily with faith in the Divine Mother, and She will pull you out of every inner and outer difficulty.Β

Affectionately,

Alok Da

What was being refered to are the stock and standard Bhajans which hardly fall into the true category. But there are beautiful soul-uplifting bhajans with equally beautiful music that flows from the depths which is even helpful at one stage of sadhana, especially in the preliminary stages. An example of the former type could be, ‘suna hai …

Dada, I watched the Movie Dhurandhar (Part 1 & 2). The struggle of the main character felt like a present-day Arjuna. I would love to hear your thoughts on it. Is there any Spiritual Lesson we can take from it? πŸΉπŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŽžοΈπŸŒ»πŸŽ¬

From the archetype point of view, the character of the main protagonist (hero) in this film is more like Abhimanyu except that it ends up with a happier fate. Like Abhimanyu, he enters into the enemy ranks from where coming out was near impossible. He is trained but inexperienced, again like Abhimanyu. He is valiant, courageous, puts …

Yes, if one looks within and finds that one has done what best one could do in a given situation, then one should remain inwardly quiet and see why one gets disturbed by the criticism. It is generally either because one expects some appreciation or praise or at least..
