AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

I strongly believe that nothing happens without a reason. Sir, Please I really request you to tell what kind of karma have I done in my previous births to have so much mental painšŸ˜“?

In this life itself we can often see the sprouts of suffering though the seeds may have been cast in previous lives. Whatever it be the corrective has to be done now. Knowing the reason in previous life hardly helps.

Whether the cause of suffering is due to karma in previous lives or in certain actions in this life the general reason for it is ignorance. Ignorance compels us to deviate from the light and the right and brings, as a consequence, suffering and pain. The suffering and pain serve as a reminder and a call for course correction. Often however instead of changing ourselves so that the root cause of our suffering can be removed for good we keep continuing habitually on the path that deviates from the truth of our being and only end up hurting ourselves more and more. Even worse we keep passing the blame to others and by complaining and revolting even against God we end up shutting the doors to the Grace

The remedy does not lie in finding the faults done in the past life but in the wrong patterns and attitudes that we chose in this life itself. After all we cannot go back into another life and change it but we can surely change this one. And if we do that we shall find ourselves always supported by the Grace. And precisely because it is we who chose the road, even though in ignorance or weakness or to escape from some difficulty or just an attraction to devious pleasures and a selfish life, it is we who have to do something about it. And then Help comes in various ways. But if we refuse to budge and continue the deviant course then we become not only the authors of our pain but responsible for its continuation.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I often struggle to express myself clearly in words. Even when I have a deep and clear understanding of something within me, I find it difficult to convey it accurately to others. When I try to speak, the words that come out are often confusing or don’t match what I truly mean🄲.

Quite a few people have this difficulty especially when one wants to convey things that are deep. I would suggest three things that will help you. 1. Read books that express profound truths with clarity and power, especially poetry. 2. Listen to eloquent and meaningful speakers.

I’m a very introverted person 😳and rarely share my feelings with others. Only one or two people truly know me well. I don’t even share anything with my parents, I often hold back because I fear the someone might copy my thoughts, ideas, or actions without giving me any credit. I also hesitate to invite people into my home, partly because I worry they might judge it, and partly because I’m afraid they’ll take ideas from my dĆ©cor. I see my ideas as unique, and the thought of someone imitating them makes me uneasy. Please help me understand this better—are these two separate issues, or are they connected?

Nothing wrong with being an introvert but the thought that people may take your ideas should not be entertained. Ideas do not belong to anyone and there is a joy in sharing them especially if one believes that they…
