AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

There is a question for which I have not received any satisfactory answer until today: Is Lord Krishna the supramental force, and is Mother Radha His power, or is the supramental force beyond this? Please take the trouble to answer this🤔.

Sri Aurobindo and Sri Krishna being the Avatars of the Supreme are, conscious descents of Sacchidananda. So too with Radha Ma and the Mother. But since each form and name has a specific truth in it, Sri Krishna is Anandmaya, Sri Aurobindo is Satyam jnanam Jyotir Anantam or Satyamaya. The Mother being the Consciousness-Force of the Supreme is Chit Shakti. All of them are part of the higher hemisphere and hence contain the Supramental within them. Yet for the sake of the lila they assume a station of consciousness as the Avatar. Thus Sri Krishna is the Avatar of the Overmind who prepares the earth for the Supramental Manifestation through Sri Aurobindo whom we can call as the Avatar of the Supermind. Radha Ma is the Shakti of Sri Krishna who exemplifies complete love and absolute surrender which alone opens the doors to the highest Bliss. The Divine Mother is the Shakti of Sri Aurobindo who opens the doors to the supramental transformation.

Original question asked in Hindi:

क प्रश्न है जिसका आज तक मुझे कोई समुचित उत्तर नही मिला है ,

क्या श्री कृष्ण ही supramental force है और मां राधा उनकी शक्ति , या फिर supramental force इससे भी परे है ?

कृपया करके इसका जवाब देने का कष्ट करे आपका बहुत आभार होगा ।

The God who is the source of all, Sri Aurobindo or the Supermind, is the complete consciousness and complete power, and in the Satmaya Kosh, both Chit and Ananda are in their fullness. On the other hand, Sri Krishna is the blissful form of the complete God who leads humanity towards fulfillment.

Yes you can put it like that.

Purification is the indispensable basis for liberation. It means removing the covering and coating of ignorance and falsehood that veils the true self. In the yoga seeking for mukti, the purification has to be less thorough. It is enough to bring some sattwic rectitude in nature, satwasanshuddhi. Transformation proper..

The talk sounded like you were putting down Marriage as a concept! True, some regions do this horse ride/wasting money, which is in bad taste. However, Marriage as a concept gives the monkey minds a framework. 🥸💍💒[…]

Yes, I agree that for the average human being, these outer frameworks and social institutions do serve a purpose of holding people together. Of course, as I mentioned, marriage or not, love and togetherness can be beautiful and ought to be so. But for that, man needs to evolve beyond the present frameworks, which operate as long as one accepts the limits of dos and don’ts. …
