AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Why relationships often end badly😪?

Love is the most powerful force in creation. Hence to hold and keep it requires a great strength and wideness and a capacity to give. But in most instances, especially human beings, turn love into a means of mutual pleasure and a togetherness centered around the satisfactions of the ego and the fulfilment of desires. Basically those who live predominantly in the vital nature or ‘love’ from that station invariably end up with fights, frustrations, or adjustments and all sorts of things that have nothing to do with love. In fact nobody teaches us what love is and most children pick it up from movies or parents or peers. In fact it is anything but love. And the true basis of any relationship should be love and not mutual satisfaction of ego and desires. The result is what we see. Human beings don’t know what is love and how to love. India had this knowledge and it was transmitted through stories of immortal love. But this new wave of ‘you can do whatever you feel like’, chase the rainbow of desires, has taken away the tapasya, the joyous sacrifice, the patience, the acceptance of people with their limitations. The consequence is that we can hardly put sustained effort in anything and of all things, love requires the greatest care in handling it. In simple words relationships need to be nurtured, nourished, developed and not automatically taken for granted. Love and relationships must also evolve as our consciousness evolves. Otherwise it falls backwards and collapses.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Alok da, At the very beggining of savitri Sri Aurobindo depicts this state of being where the self longed to reach it’s end in the vacant nought cos it fears to face the tardy process of life and mortality. Is this any similar to what western psychology calls the death drive, since life always has a certain state of friction and tension that there is a tendency within men to reach a tensionless state of inorganic matter? Is this also the cause of mass movements where one can dissolve their stress and effort of having an individuality? Many amusements men devise for themselves be it drinking, sex, entertainment seems to me connected to this phenomenon, how often people say that they go to movies cos they wanna be relieved of the “stress” of life. Is procrastination also related to this cos facing the thing that which needs to be done also triggers stress and tension so we just postpone the task indefinitely?

Death wish or thanatos is simply the urge to escape from the effort due to the extreme action of tamas. It creates great resistance to change, to express, to manifest.

The other things you speak of are the action of unbridled rajas due to the life energy that is let loose and is unregulated. Mass movements are invariably due to the vital contagion that has a great sway over the mass…

I didn’t know that this had started in 2018. Strangely enough, from 2020 till last year, I was progressing well. Now, I am trying to stay positive and hold on to The Mother. However, what should we do when we are not aware of the psychic being? How can we act correctly? Is there a chance of realising the Psychic Being during the Hour of God? 😊🙏🏻🪷✨

The chances of realising the Divine are much higher during the Hour of God. It magnifies everything. One small mistake and the consequences can be disastrous. Equally, a little effort and one progresses by a leap. The Mother guides us: ‘Finally, I am fully convinced…

My deception, which I did for a good purpose (for saving integrity within the family), is revealed and I am bashed out like anything. I don’t complain here, but I realised whatever the purpose may be, a deception is a deception. The Mother helped me learn a great lesson here. Can you please explain? 😥👨🏻‍👩🏻‍👧🏻‍👦🏻🌹🦋

It is difficult to say anything as i do not know what exactly happened. Also it depends upon what you mean by conscious deception as well as the intent behind it. There is also deception done in good faith. The worst yet the …
