AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

How much does being humble, polite, kind, and respectful of others’ perspectives, contribute to the practice of Mother’s yogaπŸ˜‡?

Humility is a great quality but it should be only in reference to the Divine. And the Divine cannot be captured by any or all the perspectives or sects and paths. However sometimes one can feel His breath in certain movements, thoughts, feelings, gestures of people and it should fill our heart with gratitude and humility.

Politeness is a social virtue and has its place as long as it does not become an excuse for weakness that tolerates falsehood and unconsciousness just because one wants to remain polite and look good.

Being kind, courteous, generous and respectful are again great human qualities but it should mean that one should show agreement and nod one’s head in affirmation to whatever others say. One can remain silent when there is a disagreement of views and it is perhaps the best policy in personal conversations. But doing so in public discussions is not necessarily a good thing. The quest for Truth must be impersonal and not based on personal sentiments which belong to a different domain altogether.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

I am interested in your views on parallel universes collapsing upon one another. I have lost my youngest son, but he still resonates here in this reality that cannot be seen with my eyes. I lost my husband in 2008. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸͺ·πŸ’–[…]

It has always been known to mystics that parallel universes do exist and nothing is really lost, it only changes form and continues to exist in this or other worlds. Though the material senses cannot reach out to those who pass beyond the earthly limits, yet we have within us immaterial senses that can come in contact with those who…

Greetings, Dada. I want to ask a common and perhaps silly question today. We often get hurt when someone repeatedly takes advantage of us. They get their work done by us, but the same person always deceives us, even though we are always there for them in every problem. πŸ˜₯πŸŒΉπŸ¦‹βœ¨[…]

This happens because there are several parts in us, each with different degrees of development. Usually it is a part of the mind that understands but the heart follows its own way of attachment. Unless the tendency of attachment changes into love and compassion, this difficulty continues. In fact it is through these experiences …

I had a dream early this morning that I was standing in probably Srinagar somewhere, as I have a house there, right next to the river Jhelum. And I see a huge muddy tidal wave coming in the distance. I think this is it and I am ready for it, but start calling out to Maa. πŸŒŠπŸ”οΈπŸ˜ŠπŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»[…]

The meaning is crystal clear. It was indeed a surge of world forces, adverse in nature, possibly connected with your roots (circumstances of physical birth) coming your way, that have been pushed back by the Mother’s Help…
