AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Once an fanatic religious person was lecturing me about how Swami Vivekanand is not an ideal man to worship, you know all their arguments they have (non vegetarianism, football and Gita and jato mat tato path) I schooled them very well about all this. There last point was- Only a guru from a lineage of guru is acceptable, or the guru parampara, only the person who quotes shastras and lives according to shastras is acceptable, if our our shastra says that non veg is not our dharma then someone who eats it is not dharmic. I felt pity for them, and prayed for them and walked away. Can you help me with some answers that can wash their heads😬

No need to wash their or anybody’s head save our own. Besides they are quite evangelistic, staunch and rigid in their beliefs, – everything that Sri Krishna is not, and trying to wash the head of any brainwashed group is to come back with a headache. Besides they, like many other such groups, are indirectly playing their role in connecting people with Sanatan Dharma so let them be in their ‘highest’ Paradise.

As far as we are concerned, our fight is not against any sect or religion or ideologies but against falsehood and unconsciousness and ignorance. For this the first necessity for us is to ourselves grow conscious of the Truth and get rid of Ignorance. Then, if we feel so inspired, enter the arena of the world and let the Light in you shine and speak. Especially we are not here to demolish or destroy, – the Time-Spirit is doing that, but to build the New Creation, the world of the future inhabited by a nobler and diviner humanity. Nothing short of that can solve the ridfle of earth and the enigma of life or establish the Divine Kingdom upon earth. the The Mother said revealingly.

‘We do not fight against any creed, any religion.

We do not fight against any form of government.

We do not fight against any social class.

We do not fight against any nation or civilisation.

We are fighting division, unconsciousness, ignorance, inertia and falsehood.

We are endeavouring to establish upon earth union, knowledge, consciousness, Truth, and we fight whatever opposes the advent of this new creation of Light, Peace, Truth and Love.’

It is important however to say that Sri Krishna himself says in the Gita that he affirms the faith of people in whatever they believe in. And nor did he start a school of thought or sect or guru parampara. But then middlemen jump in everywhere and spoil the game.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
