AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Alok da from few days I can’t sleep without going in mummas room. Every day mumma 😥makes me sleep but I can’t sleep then she scolds me and I cry, I am allowed to go in her room if I wake up in the night but every day I don’t like it. Why every day I can’t sleep. From yesterday she goes away and says you can come in the room after 45 or 50 mins and I hate it I listen to your talks in that time And I can’t sleep without mumma so in the mean time I listen to your talks , sit in bed ( not sleep ) and play with my stuff toy ( rarely ) How can I sleep without mumma and why do I need mumma. This every day since 4 days is irritating. And while sleeping I get irritation in my body I feel some insect is roaming around my leg but when I check there is nothing why does this happen

Mumma wants you to be strong and independent so she insists on your sleeping alone. If you find it difficult try keeping something of her next to you and sleep. Or put a repetitive mantra.

The insects are the irritation you feel. Call peace and it will disappear.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

The talk sounded like you were putting down Marriage as a concept! True, some regions do this horse ride/wasting money, which is in bad taste. However, Marriage as a concept gives the monkey minds a framework. 🥸💍💒[…]

Yes, I agree that for the average human being, these outer frameworks and social institutions do serve a purpose of holding people together. Of course, as I mentioned, marriage or not, love and togetherness can be beautiful and ought to be so. But for that, man needs to evolve beyond the present frameworks, which operate as long as one accepts the limits of dos and don’ts. …
