What is called as the subconscious mind by these authors is generally the subliminal, that is to say, below the threshold of our awareness. The subconscious mind is largely the instinctive mind that works habitually, mechanically, without conscious thought or reflection, as in the animal and plant. Both the subconscious as well as the subliminal mind have a great hold upon the human being. The subconscious mind draws us again and again into groves of the past, whereas the subliminal opens us to the universal thought currents and the vibrations, forces and energies of the world around us.Β
Conscious affirmations, thought suggestions, even positive imagination act as a kind of mental formation that begins to act upon us in the direction intended. However, all of these things have their limitations as these are mixed domains where the good and bad energies mix and may create their mixed effect.Β
The only safety and permanent solution lies in opening to the Superconscient, the realms above the mind that lead us to the Divine or, to go deep into our soul, which lies deeper than the subliminal.Β
Affectionately,
