AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

What causes cancer, given that it affects people of all ages—from the elderly to young children🫨?

The rise of cancer in our times is due to a number of reasons which cannot be discussed in a letter here. It is partly due to a highly modified, conditioned and controlled environment and lifestyle with intake of all kinds of artificial chemicals including medicines and, radiations of all kinds whose total effects we do not know. The other reason is a growing complexity of life and the mounting stress that makes it difficult to keep the balance. There is possibly also the impact of the forces of new creation that, for the time being, disturb the old balance and one becomes vulnerable during the transition period. I suspect that Nature is also trying to work through the human genes and DNA to create something new. All this, though disconcerting for the moment, is eventually going to awaken new possibilities in the body and help in its transmutation into a new species, perhaps a body that is luminous with a certain degree of radioactive, ionised matter in it.

These are largely intuitive speculations if you like. There is not yet research based evidence for it because scientists have been glued for long looking only in one direction and hence one does not even try to explore other possibilities. It is however a matter of time that things will change.

The message meanwhile is to adopt a healthy lifestyle, stay more in contact with nature, fresh air, sunlight, clean water, wholesome healthy diet and exercise. Ensure there is enough rest and sleep and adopt the principle of moderation and balance in everything. Stay away from too many artificial chemicals such as flavours, sweeteners, additives etc. Open more and more to the Divine forces that are active upon earth pushing mankind to exceed itself. Align oneself to the great Cosmic flow and the Divine Purpose in oneself. Do not hold grudges and indulge not in greed. Above all have faith that there is the Divine Presence within, around, above. Trust Her Will and hand over your destiny in Her hands.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Purification is the indispensable basis for liberation. It means removing the covering and coating of ignorance and falsehood that veils the true self. Can we understand Sri Aurobindo and His yoga with the physical mind, as you say physical mind never grasps the Truth in its highest sense. So if we feel good by reading Sri Aurobindo or The Mother, even that is from the physical plane, wanting a good, perfect physical life. 😅❤️‍🔥🦋 […]

The talk sounded like you were putting down Marriage as a concept! True, some regions do this horse ride/wasting money, which is in bad taste. However, Marriage as a concept gives the monkey minds a framework. 🥸💍💒[…]

Yes, I agree that for the average human being, these outer frameworks and social institutions do serve a purpose of holding people together. Of course, as I mentioned, marriage or not, love and togetherness can be beautiful and ought to be so. But for that, man needs to evolve beyond the present frameworks, which operate as long as one accepts the limits of dos and don’ts. …
