AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

I am facing a contradiction in my mind regarding the fate of the soul who are at an advanced stage of spiritual life but not reached the highest and have to discard the physical body in a violent manner like the last plane crash . Will they have to halt at the subtle – physical and vital domain for a longer period, because at the moment of death the psychic being can not take any decision.  In this case moment of death must have passed in fear. I have purchased the book Death, dying and beyond written by you and started reading it. It is really wonderful book.

Sadhaks that are really advanced have no fear, absolutely no fear. They see and find the Divine everywhere and neither life nor death carries any fear for them. Is this not the teaching of the Gita as well that he who remembers the Lord, even though he fall on the battlefield (which implies necessarily a sudden violent death) comes straight to the Divine and finds liberation in the Lord. The contradiction is in being an ‘advanced sadhak’ and yet having fear. The sign of being developed is a complete faith and surrender. Such a person is usually protected by the Divine and if, for some reason he leaves his body suddenly it is the Divine who takes care of everything since he has truly surrendered himself to the Lord. He goes straight to Him and when his soul is ready the Divine sends him to the world to complete his remaining journey.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

While reading The Sunlit Path, I came across the Mother’s statement that ‘Reason must be the Master’ and that Reason is developed by using it. I’m unsure about what she exactly mean by ‘Reason’ in this context🤔.

Also, what kind of habits or inner attitudes can I cultivate so that reason becomes an active, guiding force in life.

She means governing life with the help of reason, disciplining the vital so that it does not run around like a wild horse pulled by all kinds of impulses. It means being reasonable rather than be driven by fancies and desires. It…
