AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

Alok Da, These days there is so much traffic🚙🛵 and I drive the car from here to there, so many phone calls to attend and people to manage, how to find peace in this chaos ?

There is a long answer and a short one as well as an ultimate answer.

The long answer is to never take a call including through the blue tooth while driving, except from the immediate family members. Your life is precious to the Divine and His work or even to the people who love and care. The world can wait. Play some soft music inside. Stay in the heart centre with Her Name and establish a permanent settlement of inner Peace and Equanimity.

Short answer: employ a driver, especially when driving long dustances or through heavy traffic places. It will keep you stress free and active, give employment to someone and be an added help.

The ultimate answer: shift to Pondicherry which combines the best of city and town life.

PS: The last is not to be taken literally. Find the inner Presence and live in Her Peace and ease.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Alok da, it’s been like two-three years since I got an introduction to Savitri, and discourses upon it by M P Pandit, yours and others. I intuitively knew – this is a text that I should be carrying like an inner recitation throughout my life from now on, but still I came to postponing and delaying totally getting into it all this time. 😊🙏🏻🌻📖[…]

Reading Savitri everyday is itself a Yoga. If you can do this with quietude and inner concentration, a page a day or more, contemplate upon it or simply let the lines and words reverberate within its sound and words seeping into …
