AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

But if India is forced into multiple wars with Pakistan, won’t it have a negative effect on India’s economic progress? Will these wars not pull India economically back by several years, dear Alok da? โš ๏ธ๐Ÿช–๐Ÿ”๏ธ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ

Certainly, wars take a toll on humanity in several ways, though they can also help unite a country, awaken valour and courage in a sleeping nation, instill feelings of patriotism and the spirit of nationalism, sacrifice for a greater good, and help in the nation discovering its soul. But the real justification of War, if any, is a just self-defence. India has never gone to war with an expansionist Agenda. But wars have been thrust upon it a number of times, hence the need for war preparedness and a strong military. To avoid war is best, but if it is thrust upon you, one should face it with full resolve and determination for the victory.

Affectionately,

Alok Da
