The name “Oulanem” is believed to be an anagram of “Manuelo,” referencing “Emmanuel,” a biblical name for Jesus Christ, suggesting a blasphemous inversion. It has themes of destruction, nihilism, and defiance against Divine authority. The protagonist, Oulanem, expresses a deep hatred for the world and humanity, contemplating the destruction of the Universe as an act of rebellion.
This is evident in a soliloquy where he declares:
“If there is a something which devours, Iβll leap within it, though I bring the world to ruins β the world which bulks between me and the abyss, I will smash to pieces with my enduring curses.”
Another character declares:
“See this sword? The prince of darkness sold it to me. For me he beats the time and gives the signs. Ever more boldly I play the dance of death.”
Oulanem also says:
βIβll set up my throne above, Cold and terrible will be the peak of it. Superstitious trembling is at its base, Master β most black agony.β
Several biographers and commentators have described Karl Marx in terms that suggest he exhibited behaviours reminiscent of demonic possession
Robert Payne, a respected biographer of Marx, wrote in his 1968 work that “there were times when Marx seemed to be possessed by demons,” noting that Marx “had the devilβs view of the world, and the devilβs malignity. Sometimes he seemed to know that he was accomplishing works of evil”.
Marx’s close associates also used striking language. His collaborator, Friedrich Engels, referred to him as a “monster possessed by ten thousand devils,” and Marx’s father once questioned whether his son was “governed by a demon”.
We also know that the communist movement claimed the lives of hundreds of millions of people, such numbers absurd and beyond comprehension of the mind, and it still continues to hamper the world in countless ways by surviving like the Raktabeeja monster, wherever it has a drop of blood, it sprouts out again, in this case by changing its forms under many βsocial justice movementsβ all the while aligning with some other movements that donβt seem to be so liberal, but quite destructive. And from the Writings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, we know such beings can and have taken human bodies. I know it isn’t possible to just outright say such things, but there seem to be strong indications, so I felt it was worth sharing…
I am in complete agreement with you. Though I haven’t read his life, but his theories and ideas gave me a clear feeling that he was very much one of the three mini Asuras who inverted the Truth. Imitating and inverting the Truth is the most dangerous weapon of the Asura of falsehood and he precisely did that. His appeal lay in the human dream of social justice, economic parity and, the spirit of equality. Hence, many young people are easily swayed by their propaganda. It is only when they go deeper into the actual organisational structure and its functioning, the violence and anger it unleashes, the gross injustices it indulges in the name of justice, the absolute control by the State robbing free choices in the name of equality, that one can begin to see through the bluff. I must congratulate you on this discernment, which is rare.Β
The other two Asuras who have inverted and imitated Truth are Freud and the so-called religion of peace, called as Islam. There are others too, but these two especially, Communism and Islam, are among the two most dangerous threats to the world today. In fact, if you look closely, you will see a strange eerie similarity between the two, except that one fools us in the name of humanity while the other in the name of God. But the only God they both seem to worship is political power.
Affectionately,
Alok Da
