AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

During early days we used to experience miracles when praying to mother. But years later we don’t experience the same. Why is it so? How to overcome worldly distractions and be sincere to Mother? Even though we know way, what is preventing me from devoting myself to the fullest🤔? Why have I wasted so many years?

The need for miracles means that the vital wants an easy way out. It means that we are wanting the Divine not for our ultimate and permanent good but for the satisfaction of desires and for transient good. Perhaps that is why the miracles have become less so that one can graduate from the artharthi (seeker of material goods) to a jigyasu (seeker of Knowledge and Truth). It means that the Mother is taking you seriously and wants you to engage with the yoga in a true way. The first step to be taken is to read Her works so that we know that the true miracle is not getting what we want but becoming what we must be. Do not lament the past but learning the lessons go forward confidently towards the future.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

As for spirituality, let’s not talk about it, it is materialistic. I wonder if we really choose our family before incarnating. Could it be a game of chance, similar to a lottery?
