AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER

Each god has two functions related to we humans :-1) In religious sense they are supreme since they can fulfill any legitimate wish to lead a good life but in ignorance. 2) In spiritual sense they are just different aspects of the supreme managing the creation but can be taken as door through which one can pass over to the supreme. Am I understood correctly?

Yes, but with a slight correction. In the religious sense, each god cannot or would not fulfil all the wishes. For example Saraswati can give us inspiration and the impulse to right action but for harmony and love we have Lakshmi ji. Even when they fulfil the same function they do it differently. Thus, both Shiva and Krishna can grant liberation but Shiva does it by taking the soul away from the world whereas Sri Krishna by taking us through the world.

As to the wishes in generally, it is rarely that it reaches the great gods. There are plenty of little gods in the vital domain who do that.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

Sri Aurobindo said that Sri Ramakrishna was as much an Avatar as Christ, so his spiritual power or impact on world in numbers or quality must be similar if not equivalent to that of Christ. Sri Ramakrishna also reveals that Maa Sarada devi was the Avatar of Mahasaraswati, so she too must be equivalent in power and impact on the world to Sri Ramakrishna and therefore Christ. And Swami Vivekananda was a Rudra vibhuti who did Tapasya and realized the truth within, so his spiritual power and impact must be greater than Muhammad or even Shivaji or Augustus. And I don’t even need to mention Sri Aurobindo and the Mother themselves as the Supreme Avatars. And there were countless enlightened sages unleashed into India in the last century like the Heavens had broke loose😐.

First about the facts. Sri Aurobindo did not speak of Sri Ramkrishna as an Avatar in the sense of the Gita. In fact Sri Ramakrishna himself spoke something similar when he spoke about it. But both Sri Aurobindo and Sri ….
