Do some deep breathing exercise especially Nadi shuddhi Pranayamas such as ‘Anulom Vilom’.
Asanas are also very helpful in strengthening the nerves.
Practice inner Calm.
Avoid excitement and anything that can agitate.
Do regular meditation including on Peace.
Play some sport games regularly.
