That is a question that all of us have. In fact, he refused photographs also between 1920 and 1950. The last Darshan day photograph was at the Mother’s special request.ย
But there is a real story of an American who clandestinely tried to record Sri Aurobindo’s voice, but the whole tape came blank. So yes, such is the Lord’s Will, though one can hear him by his Grace if he so wills.ย
