AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

How to be totally surrender towards the mother? How can we surrender our mind, vital, lower part, physical and it’s difficulties to the mother? Recently i read Sri Aurobindo’s letter where the letter essence is if your surrender is not complete then you will not escape these difficulties. Spontaneously egoistic thought, feeling, lust coming and it is feeling suffocating or pain in lower part. How to be surrender our lower part which is going their own way? What is the right way to deal this stages🤨?

Surrender does not mean lack of effort. That would be tamasic surrender and will not bring any result. It means now my life is meant for the Divine Mother. Hence think of the Mother, meditate upon Her writings and reject doubts as well as misuse of mental faculties.

It means also not to harbour anger, jealousy, fear, hate and try to love the divine element in everyone.

It means to turn your life into Her Service and to use the body only for Her purposes.

All this requires long time, great sincerity and persistent effort. One has to be very patient and full of faith. The sign that you are proceding in the right direction will be growth of inner peace, equanimity and joy.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

In her conversations with Mona Sarkar on revolutionaries, the Mother mentioned that Subhas had quite illumined psychic after seeing his picture. Then how did he go into the asuric camp? 🤔

Which book of Mona da is it mentioned? I have not come across it. Would like to see the reference. Sri Aurobindo’s own assessment of him was that he was a passionate sentimental idealist with the streak of ambition that drove him. Of course this comment refers to his personaity and nature in this life. It is not any judgment ….
