AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I know that I’m not a sattwic soul; my nature seems more tamsik. I experience jealousy, I desire to be the best, and I suspect that I have some ego. When I do Puja, it sometimes feels mechanical. How can I overcome these qualities🫤?

Nobody is an ideal sattwic person to begin with. Most human beings are subject to the same human difficulties as you mention. But with a steady effort in the right direction, by a will to progress, by a sustained will and faith in the Divine Mother and Her Grace even the worst of the lost can not only find the goal and the way but change one’s human nature with animal tendencies into a godlike, divine nature.

Affectionately,

Alok Da

It is certainly a positive…
