AT THE FEET OF THE MOTHER
Ask Alok da

I was introduced to the Mother and Sri Aurobindo in the year 2021. I first came to Puducherry in 2024 for the Youth Camp conducted by the Society. πŸ€—β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯[…]

A few of my friends were such amazing kids of the Mother that their excitement and enthusiasm to visit the Samadhi was so pure, childlike. I didn’t feel much about it initially, but as I kept going with them every time, now, as I look back, I grew closer and closer to Her first and then I started reading ‘The Mother’ and through Her, I started to read Sri Aurobindo’s writings. Now I can at least get a word from His whole prose.

So my question is, is my liking or growing close to Mother influenced by my friends totally, or is it just me? I am sure it’s both. Either way, I feel so lucky and blessed that They came into my life.Β Constantly in shock that what have I done to even deserve to be in their Light!

Each soul enters the path in different ways, but once it has entered, it has its own unique relation with the Mother. Your soul recognises Her and hence it wants the Mother and cries for Her. It is a sign of your inner closeness to Her beyond this life. It is like someone who finds the true home after much wandering.Β

Affectionately,

Alok Da
